Henry Giff (1885-1973), Steward of Lisnavagh

Born to a Carlow farming family at Kildavin and trained as a gardener at Curraghmore, Henry was land steward of Lord Rathdonnell’s Lisnavagh estate. He married Lil Whyte in 1909 and later moved to Green Hall, Tinahely.
